As part of the International Weeks against Racism from 14.03.2022 to 27.03.2022, the Migration Department of Deutsche Aidshilfe (DAH) is also taking a stand against racism.

Under the motto "#Regenbogenliebe - Sei gegen Rassismus" (#Rainbow Love - Be Against Racism) , DAH is sending an important signal with a photo campaign: against racism and for diversity.

As an organization that represents the interests of people with HIV, Deutsche Aidshilfe stands in solidarity with all Black people and people of color (BPoC) who are exposed to racist violence and discrimination. Our work also includes actively combating racism. Racist violence also affects Black people and people of color in our communities and people who work with us in HIV, STI and hepatitis prevention. Anti-BPoC racism as a factor for negative health effects has not yet been sufficiently investigated in Germany, and the necessary reforms in the healthcare system are still in their infancy.

We welcome the initiative of the network partners "AfroLebenPlus", African Health & HIV Network in Germany (AGHNiD) and other migrant organizations (MO) as well as activists for the campaign against discrimination and racism under the motto: #Rainbow Love - Be Against Racism

This campaign will be continued in the coming years using cross-media and in collaboration with other members of the association.
